The Agricultural Policy Analysis Unit
The Agricultural Policy Analysis Unit (SAEPR) was established in 1993 with the support of the World Bank and the British Know-How Fund. The reason behind this initiative was the need for the Ministry of Agriculture to be supplied - promptly and on a current basis - with various analyses covering the broad topic of agriculture. The SAEPR team includes experts who specialise in various EU agricultural and rural policy issues. Each member of the team has economic background as well as significant practical experience as an analyst, which is vital for the close the co-operation with the Ministry of Agriculture and other agriculture-related institutions. SAEPR experts examine the key issues in Polish agricultural and rural policies. They also cooperate with OECD. Current SAEPR team includes the following professionals:
 
Wanda Chmielewska - Gill (Agricultural Policy Unit Manager) - graduate of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and postgraduate of Wye College, University of London.

Kinga Boening - graduate of the University of Warsaw and Freie Universität Berlin

Dr Edmund Giejbowicz, PhD. – graduate of The Latvia University of Agriculture and postgraduate of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences

Zofia Giersz - graduate of the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Law and Administration, and the University of Insurance and Banking in Warsaw

Agnieszka Korycińska - graduate of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Faculty of Agricultural Economics

Justyna Kufel – graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and Dronten Professional Agricultural University (Christelijke Agrarische Hogeschool)

Adam Poślednik - graduate of the August Cieszkowski Agricultural University of Poznan

Tomasz Wołek - graduate of the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Economic Sciences, currently engaged in Ph.D. studies at the same faculty.
